Mojiya for iPhone and iPad: Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 October 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and Shar Avraham Mana, trading as Mojiya Studio (“we”, “us”), about the Mojiya app for iPhone and iPad (the “App”). By downloading or using the App you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the App. The general terms and the privacy policy also apply.

1. Who this agreement is with

This agreement is between you and us only. Apple Inc. is not a party to it. We, not Apple, are responsible for the App and what it contains.

2. What you may do with the App

We give you a licence to use the App, which you may not transfer, on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions allow. Those rules also let the App be used by other accounts in your Family Sharing group or bought through volume purchasing, where the App Store offers that.

The App contains software that other people wrote and licensed under open-source licences. Those licences, not this section, govern those components. Section 3 says what that means for the libraries under the LGPL, which it defines.

3. The open-source libraries in the App

The App plays some video files with VLCKit, VideoLAN’s library, and the libraries built into it. Some of these are under the GNU Lesser General Public License or the GNU Library General Public License, in any version, alone or as one of a choice of licences; in these terms “the LGPL” means whichever of those licences applies to the library. The full list is in the App, under Settings, then About & sources, with each library’s licence given in full.

For every library in the App that is under the LGPL:

Where these terms and an open-source licence disagree about the component that licence covers, the open-source licence wins for that component.

4. Support

We alone are responsible for maintaining and supporting the App, as described here and as the law requires. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. Write to [email protected].

5. Warranty

To the extent the law allows, the App is provided as it is, without any warranty that these terms do not state. Where a warranty applies to the App, by law or otherwise, we, not Apple, are responsible for it.

If the App fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for the App, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App, and any other claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense from a failure to meet a warranty is ours to deal with, not Apple’s.

6. Claims about the App

We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claim by you or by anyone else about the App or your having or using it, including:

7. Intellectual property

If anyone claims that the App, or your having or using it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.

8. Export and sanctions

You confirm that you are not in a country that is subject to a United States Government embargo, or that the United States Government has designated as a country that supports terrorism, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

9. Purchases

The App sells courses as auto-renewing subscriptions and as a one-time purchase, through the App Store. The App Store charges your Apple Account, and its terms govern payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds. The purchase sheet in the App says what each plan costs and how often it renews before you buy.

10. Other services

You must follow the terms of any third-party service you use with the App, such as your network provider’s when the App downloads course audio.

11. Apple as a third-party beneficiary

Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right, and is taken to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

12. Contact

Questions, complaints and claims about the App go to:

13. Changes and the law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have jurisdiction over any dispute about them, except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim in its courts or under its consumer protection rules. We may update these terms; the version on this page is the one in force, with the date it last changed at the top.
