Delete your Mojiya account
A Mojiya account exists only if you signed in: to buy or download the course, or to back up and sync your study. The free lessons need no account.
In the app
Settings → Cloud backup → Delete account. Deletion happens at once.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the Google account you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my Mojiya account”. If you signed in with Apple, send it from the address your App Store receipt went to, with the receipt’s order ID. We reply to that address first, delete the account once you confirm, and tell you when it is done, within 30 days. An Apple sign-in that never bought anything can be deleted only in the app: install it again, sign in the same way, and delete the account from Settings.
What is deleted
- The account, and its links to your Google or Apple sign-in. If you signed in with Apple, we also tell Apple to revoke Mojiya’s access.
- The record of which course licence the account holds, and when it was given the course download.
- Everything the account backed up: your reviews, shop purchases, settings, starred and known words, notes, mined words, reading positions, placement results and import records.
- Any web reminders you turned on at mojiya.app.
- RevenueCat’s record of the account, which we ask them to delete.
What is not
- Your reviews, settings and files on your device. The app keeps them, and offers them to the next account you sign in with. Books, videos and dictionaries never left it.
- The store’s record of your purchase. Google Play keeps an Android purchase, and the App Store keeps an iPhone purchase, each under its own terms. To cancel a subscription, use the store you bought it from.
