FAQ
What is free, and what do the prices buy?
The whole N5-equivalent band is free, plus the first lessons of every higher level. The dictionary, the reader, and the video tools stay free. $3.99 a month, $29.99 a year, and $69.99 lifetime are the same course license, bought in the Android or iOS app or on mojiya.app.
Does the dictionary cost anything?
No. It needs no account and no purchase.
Do the free lessons need an account?
On the phone, no. In the browser, no. An account is how a purchase is recognised, and how your study is backed up and kept the same on each of your devices.
How do I sign in?
With Google or with Apple. One Mojiya account can hold both. If you already have an account, the second method links onto it.
Can I study in the browser?
Yes. The course in the browser is the same one as on Android and iPhone. The N5-equivalent band is free, and the first lessons of the higher levels are free, with no account. The rest opens when the account owns the course licence. The study log is kept in this browser and, signed in, Cloud backup keeps it the same on Android, iPhone and the web. A browser can clear site data, so a purchase is recognised by signing in.
Are there ads or trackers?
The app shows no ads and has no trackers of its own. This website counts visits the way the privacy policy describes, with no cookies.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, at Settings → Account → Delete account, or from the delete account page.
What platforms are you on?
Android, iOS, and the web.
